OPERA ROANOKE CHORUS
The dedicated members of the Opera Roanoke Chorus are the backbone of community involvement in our mainstage productions. Chorus members perform in fully staged productions, concerts, and at engagement and fundraising events throughout the season.
The Opera Roanoke Chorus always welcomes auditions for new members! You do not need to have a professional background in singing. Our chorus includes teachers, healthcare workers, church musicians, and college students - people from all walks of life who enjoy singing. If you have an interest in sharing your talents as part of the Chorus, send an email to manager@operaroanoke.org.
Chorus rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:30PM at Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church, with an occasional Sunday afternoon rehearsal requirement. Dillon Swanson, Opera Roanoke's Chorus Master, leads all rehearsals.

Opera Roanoke invites interested singers to audition for 2025/26 Chorus opportunities on Sunday, July 27th. All singers must bring at least two prepared pieces, preferrably one in a foreign language and another of your choosing.
All auditions will be accompanied by piano. No accompaniment tracks will be allowed. Please bring readable sheet music for the pianist (no chord charts).
